The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), together with the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, are pleased to announce that former NFL and college head coach Chan Gailey will be the featured speaker at this year’s FCA / AutoZone Liberty Bowl Breakfast. The 2025 breakfast benefiting FCA will be held at the Hilton Memphis Hotel on Wednesday, December 31. Breakfast starts at 8:30 am, the program begins at 9:00 am.
Gailey’s stellar coaching career spanned nearly 50 years. In the NFL, Gailey was head coach of the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills. He served as offensive coordinator for several teams and coached in numerous Super Bowls with Denver and Pittsburgh. Gailey was also a successful college head coach with tenures at Troy, Samford and Georgia Tech. Coach Gailey is a longtime supporter of the FCA and highlights the FCA’s Coaches Camps as impacting his life and career.
In announcing this year’s guest speaker, Greater Memphis FCA Metro Director Jeremy Wilbur commented, “We are extremely excited to have Coach Gailey share his story and personal testimony with our audience and the Memphis community. He has a powerful story of faith and how his relationship with God was a part of his coaching career and his life.”
